The Email Marketing Manager (m/f/d) will be responsible for owning email and direct mail communication across various functions that are personalized, compelling, and timely. The ideal candidate is customer and user-centric, is a self-starter, and has skill in both crafting relevant messages and an analytical mindset. This person will apply a scientific approach to optimizing campaigns and improving the overall efficiency of our email marketing programs.


  • Lead and execute email marketing campaigns including email sequences for sales, product launches, promotional mailings, newsletters, lifecycle campaigns, customer journeys, and more
  • Manage campaign calendar and production processes of email campaigns with cross-functional teams
  • Manage global email deliverability, data hygiene, opt-in marketing email database, and enforce compliance with global opt-in laws and regulations
  • Coordinate design and copy development; own the HTML coding of emails
  • Develop a deep understanding of our different types of audiences we serve to develop a personalized approach through channel personas and industry verticals
  • Own and maintain an email calendar of all campaigns, from current customer engagement to new lead nurture programs
  • Generate content ideas and A/B testing strategies for list growth, customer engagement, and increased funnel conversions (layout, format, frequency, copy, etc)
  • Analyze data to draw conclusions and take action accordingly
  • Excellent project management skills with a strong ability to prioritize and execute on multiple work streams


  • 3+ years of hands-on email marketing experience
  • HTML experience 
  • Familiarity working with an ESP such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, etc. Knowledge of Hubspot would be a plus
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable multitasking to ensure deadlines are met
  • Agile and flexible mindset
  • Good copywriting skills in either German or English
  • Fluent in both German and English
