ABOUT THE ROLE

The Head of Product Marketing will be responsible for managing the marketing of our current and future portfolio of products, delivering value to the current and future customers, and driving growth. This person will create the messaging, positioning, go-to-market strategies, and customer focus to help our company become a leader in the fintech sector. The ideal candidate is a doer and a leader who has a sharp understanding of demand gen, B2B buyer journeys, and customer empathy and research. 


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Messaging and positioning: determine how to communicate our products in a compelling way by fusing competitive and customer research, sales input, and product understanding. Build and enrich buyers personas and ICPs (ideal customer profiles) that reflect the needs of our customers 
  • Demand generation: collaborate with cross-functional marketing teammates to oversee marketing campaigns that generate awareness and growth. Excellent knowledge of marketing channels and tactics such as paid advertising, social, and content marketing
  • Research: Conduct customer research and lead competitive intelligence programs to provide a deep understanding of our competitors’ strategies, marketing tactics, offerings, and performance to inform product development and our marketing and sales efforts
  • Spearhead the development of content including long-form ebooks, short digestible whitepapers, case studies, sales presentations, videos, webinars, web content, blog posts, and more
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and sales to execute go-to-market strategies, including product launches and campaign content
  • Understand the competitive landscape to identify customer needs, use cases, and product benefits for specific segments and audiences
  • Work with product management to provide the customer perspective on the roadmap
  • Oversee field marketing and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and briefings
  • Manage and lead team members by creating effective processes and nurturing professional development


YOUR PROFILE

  • 4+ years experience in product or B2B marketing or SaaS; fintech experience a plus
  • 2+ years experience as a people manager
  • Ability to switch between execution and management 
  • Experience in working with international and multicultural teams
  • Strong analytical skills to track, analyze, and incorporate data driven insights to report on and optimize campaigns
  • Strong communication skills; ability to influence peers without direct authority
  • A good eye for design and being detailed oriented
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to control several projects in parallel, meet deadlines and pay attention to details
  • Confident handling of constantly changing priorities in an environment in which there are new opportunities every day
  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
